Uverse with Iphone?

Hi everyone!
So, we're moving into our new house next week and we're getting Uverse by AT&T. I understand there's an app which will allow me to use my Iphone like a remote. Has anyone used this and if so, does it work well with Voice Over? Are you able to use all the features? Is there a particular DVR required? I think I have to get an additional device which will allow them to connect but that's ok. I just want to get some feedback before I spend the money.

Digital TV from AT&T. It's super cool if I can figure out a way to make the guide accessible. I've got the I-phone ap as well as the web remote feature on the net and while the buttons seem to be accessible, the listings of shows on the guide are not. GRRR.
